An OnlyFans model has been banned from the platform for collaborating with an under-18 individual. The scandal has brought the effectiveness of OnlyFans age verification process into question, as reports suggest that children as young as 13 have been able to bypass it.
In a now-deleted TikTok video, Comi stated that she held a contest for a loyal fan to create content with her.
“I made a selection and we recorded the video. I had to choose a guy from my subscribers to record the video with.
“After several selections, I chose and met him.”
“Everything went well, we shot the video, but I hadn’t gotten him to sign the paperwork yet.”
Following the video’s release, Michelle Comi has faced backlash for collaborating with an under-18 individual.
While the age of consent in Italy is 14, OnlyFans rules state that content can only be accessed or posted by people who are over 18.
She acknowledged that she should have exercised more caution and conducted proper due diligence before filming the video with the fan.
“For obvious reasons [the fan being under 18], the video cannot be distributed. In fact, it really shouldn’t exist. And indeed it was cancelled.”
“It was my fault, I should have made him sign everything sooner, but being the first time I’ve done it, I went a little on trust.”
“I hope he at least enjoyed himself.”
According to Michelle, the subscription-based platform has now banned her from their services.
In a post on Telegram, she said:
“I was banned from OnlyFans. Listen carefully! I have opened a new platform, if you want to support me.”
After the incident involving Michelle Comi, it has been revealed that underage individuals have been able to create accounts on OnlyFans.
According to a BBC investigation, children as young as 13 were able to bypass the platform’s age verification process by using fake documents or IDs that belong to older family members.
A 17-year-old girl from southeast England was able to sell explicit videos of herself performing sexual acts on OnlyFans, using a fake ID to sign up for an account.
School safeguarding officers have reported that children as young as 12 are using OnlyFans to contact adult content creators and asking to meet up.
OnlyFans’ reputation is taking a hit as more reports surface of underage users setting up accounts and engaging in explicit content creation and sales.
As a result, the site is facing increased scrutiny and calls for better safeguards to prevent underage exploitation.
